What does it cost?

Pay As You Go? Here are our standard for use within the UK and abroad. Pay Monthly? These charges kick in when you use all of your airtime before the month's over - or if you use airtime that's not included in your monthly package.

STANDARD CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES

These are our standard costs for most UK calls. They include peak and off-peak calls, using your Virgin Mobile WAP service, calls and text messages to other Virgin Mobile phones within the UK and most freephone numbers. Virgin Mobile will not charge for calls to freephone numbers of charities and helplines listed on our website.
First 5 minutes of calls each day¹:	15p per minute

All calls made count towards the daily build-up of minutes, except free calls, calls from abroad and flat rate calls, e.g. a call to our team. Our calls are billed per second and our charges are rounded up to the nearest penny. A minimum call charge of 5p applies. Premium rate calls in the UK may be billed per call, minute, second or combination thereof. Includes calls and texts to Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man. Some Nokia, Panasonic & Sagem phones can send texts up to three times as long as normal. They'll be delivered as separate messages, so you'll be charged for each. To view sites other than Virgin Mobile Bites. Cost varies according to the amount of pictures and text on a page e.g. A WAP page which is mostly text, will cost about 0.5p. After that, it's a flat rate of 30p per day, so however many times you use it in one day, it will only cost 30p. And if you don't use it, you don't pay! Getting BITES abroad is no problem. It costs the same as it does in the UK, plus the standard rate from the region you're in. All prices include VAT where applicable.
